Hayes Miller

Hayes is a 27-year veteran of financial services. Before founding the Alpha Lab companies, he served high-net-worth families, supported institutional and advisory clients, managed portfolios of traditional and alternative assets, and analyzed a wide range of investments for sophisticated investors.

Originally educated as a physicist, Hayes draws on his granular understanding of investment strategies and performance analytics to help Alpha Lab clients communicate their strategy, objectives, investment process, and long-term vision. Over the past 16-plus years, he has helped clients launch funds and raise more than a billion dollars in AUM.

Before founding Alpha Lab, Hayes was Principal and Chief Operating Officer of Atlantic Alpha Strategies, LLC, a statistical arbitrage hedge fund he co-founded with Mark A. Moore, PhD. Before that, he was Managing Principal of the Atlanta office of S&Y Asset Management, a boutique multi-family office platform providing investment advisory and planning services to high-net-worth families. Hayes began his career at Robinson Humphrey/Smith Barney, where he built investment strategies and managed separately managed accounts.
